Description of Significance THE LOGAN COUNTY COURTHOUSE IS ONE OF THE OLDEST AND LARGEST PUBLIC BUILDINGS IN OKLAHOMA. BUILT IN 1907, THIS BEAUX ARTS/NEOCLASSICAL STYLE BUILDING IS REMARKABLE FOR ITS ARCHITECTURE. IT IS A FOUR-STORY BUFF BRICK BUILDING. THE CENTRAL PORTION OF THE BUILDING IS RECESSED, WITH PROJECTING WINGS ON EITHER SIDE. A CENTRAL, PEDIMENTED PORTICO FRAMES THE FRONT ENTRANCEWAY. LISTED IN NATIONAL REGISTER 8/23/1984.
